The horror… the horror!

Fearless German filmmaker (is there any other kind?) Jan Jürgen has made a documentary entitled Rain of Madness, about the horrors of making a press-kit featurette for a major Hollywood picture It’s truly a trip into the heart of darkness where he dares ask:

“Is there a more forbidding, more sinister side [to Hollywood] than the glittering facade held up by the powerful arms of the Studio System?”

Especially powerful Jürgen’s admitted failure to understand the motivations of actor Alpa Chino in taking on such a huge challenge. Seeing how Chino made his mark as a cultural icon, it certainly raises more questions than answers…
