Nifty overview of Google’s beta-new Chrome browser, if you give a shit about these kinds of things. I do, in a marginal way, though I’m not comfortable with the googlification of our internets. I much prefer the quasi-anarchic, DIY ethos of the Mozilla project.
Still, Chrome’s supposed robust security features intrigue me. I like that they added an “incognito mode”, which everyone knows will be used to keep porn surfing away from the prying eyes of parents, spouses, employers, school administrators, parole officers…
Firefox already has a fantastic extension called NoScript which lets the user decide which sites can execute scripts. Yeah, you need this.
Oh, and the Googlenaut just turned 10 years old. Good for them.
